Thanks for stopping by our new River Vine Blog.
We’re excited to announce that we’ve started fabrication on River Vine Vineyards, our Gen7 Concept House, at the AMS factory in Manteca. The design is finalized and the first modules are under production.
We want our blog to be a valuable resource for everyone interested in sustainable prefabricated building. We’ll be posting here every week, giving you the opportunity to see the latest products, technology and design ideas in action and to learn more about the modular building process as we move through production and installation, in our factory and at the River Vine site. You can follow our progress and share the experience as we select materials, choose finishes, integrate systems and automate everything for complete control. You’ll also hear from our sponsors, who’ll bring insight on some of the most innovative, environmentally-friendly products and energy-saving technology available for home, school and commercial use.
River Vine is our most complex project to date—and the most advanced prefab building in California—so it will be a unique learning experience for all of us. We’re looking forward to showcasing the finished residence next summer, but until then, we invite you along on a journey we know will be both inspiring and informative, one that will take sustainable modular building to the next level.
River Vine’s owner, and AMS/Gen7 co-founder, Tony Sarich, will be sharing his vision for the project—and the future—on Tuesday, so don’t miss it!
