Established in 2006, Blu Bathworks is a Canadian modern bathware design-house & manufacturer founded by internationally renowned designer, Michael Gottschalk.
Blu offers the complete modern bathware solution with an extensive catalogue including freestanding bathtubs, shower bases, sinks, tapware, shower systems, toilets, furniture & accessories.
The jewel in Blu’s crown is the brand’s signature eco-friendly blu•stone™ collection – a highly durable, customizable material crafted primarily from quartzite, which is available in a range of bathtubs, sinks and shower bases. blu•stone™ fixtures are available in a matte or gloss finish with a choice of bold vibrant colors and optional exterior embossed carving to create further texture and personalization.

With an inherent passion for water, Blu Bathworks is committed to developing sustainable products for an ecological future. This passion inspired the creation of a number of the brand’s signature collections, all designed to work in harmony together or as standalone pieces.
The brand’s signature eco-friendly blu·stone™ material, for example, is an exceptionally durable material crafted primarily from quartzite, which is available in a selection of luxury bathtubs, sinks and shower bases. In addition to its low–energy production process & recyclable nature – blu•stone™ provides superior water temperature retention. Other high-end collections designed with sustainability at the forefront include pure•2 and opus•2 Italian-made tapware, compliant with CalGreen and AB1953 lead-free standards and low-flow toilets meeting WaterSense standards. The materials used for Blu Bathworks furniture collection are also sustainable non-VOC panels with the among the lowest formaldehyde emissions in the world.
Product Used
Blu Bathworks modern bathware will be used throughout the River Vine bathrooms, including Master Bathroom, guest suite bath, guest bedroom bath and powder room, including carefully selected items from the Italian-made pure•2 tapware collection, electronica digital tapware series and luxa accessories – exclusively with a modern polished chrome finish. The project also includes shower systems, wall-mount toilets & bidets, halo blu•stone™ freestanding bathtub, halo blu•stone™ sinks, blu•stone™ shower base, and series 700 & 1200 vanities and mirrors with creative storage solutions in coordinating finishes!
