Product Overview

WrapShield SA Self-Adhered WRB/Air Barrier is a fully self adhered sheet membrane.  It offers primerless application, contains zero VOC’s and is ideally suited for modular, panelized or field installation.  The innovative adhesive bonds directly to virtually all substrates by pulling off the release film and can be repositioned for up to 30 minutes. WrapShield SA Self-Adhered passes the rigorous ASTM E 2357 test and is approved by ABAA (Air Barrier Association of America).  It is tough, durable, sustains up to six months of climate exposure and offers a 20 year warranty.

How It Works

WrapShield SA Self-Adhered WRB/Air Barrier was applied directly to the sheathing to each of the 20 modular units during factory fabrication.  Crews simply removed the release film and rolled over the membrane to ensure adhesion; the innovative adhesive allows for repositioning within 30 minutes reducing scrap. WrapShield SA Self-Adhered high drying capacity helps to mitigate moisture damage within the building envelope and control air infiltration supporting the Zero Net Energy building goals.  The durable orange membrane, prominently displayed during transport and construction can be exposed to the elements for up to six months.
