Fabrication is moving along quickly, and River Vine is taking shape from the ground-up. 

We began installation of our flooring assembly with structural steel floor decking, using a quality composite steel product, 3WHF-36 Hi Form, from ASC Steel Deck, one of our River Vine Project Partners. Pre-cut individual sheets were installed by AMS crew.

They are all inspirational companies who share our vision for sustainable building, and we’re grateful to have them as part of this project.

From the beginning, I knew I wanted River Vine to be two things and that those two things were closely entwined. I wanted River Vine to be a comfortable, responsibly-built place to live and I wanted it to be a place to test and evolve technology and products that can be used to make Gen7 classrooms a better learning environment.

We’re excited to announce that we’ve started fabrication on River Vine Vineyards, our Gen7 Concept House, at the AMS factory in Manteca. The design is finalized and the first modules are under production.
